A growing percentage of people
unconsciously clench or grind their teeth
together at night while sleeping. In the dental field this condition is called bruxism and can require the use of night guards. Here at Rosewood Dental we will take your impression and make you a custom night guard.
Wisdom teeth removal and extractions
Wisdom teeth are the last set of molars to develop, and the jawbone is often not large enough to accommodate them. Sometimes the wisdom teeth become partially trapped under the gums or start to crowd the surrounding teeth, moving them out of proper alignment. Other teeth can also be impacted, meaning they’re trapped between the jaw bone and the gum tissue. Impacted teeth can cause swelling, pain, and gum infection. Dr. Nguyen can remove these problem teeth in the comfort of our own office.
We offer custom porcelain veneers to address a variety of dental issues that only affect the smile’s aesthetics. These long-lasting and natural-looking prosthetics can be attached in a few office visits, dramatically improving the visual appeal without extensive treatment.
Mini dental implants are essentially the same as traditional implants; they are made out of durable, non-corrosive titanium and are inserted into the jawbone below the gum line to provide anchors for new teeth. Mini implants, however, are typically half the diameter of traditional implants, allowing them to be used in places where full-size implants can’t, such as areas where there isn’t much room or where the patient doesn’t have enough bone mass.
