Dental Cleaning
A dental cleaning is also referred to as prophylaxis. Regular teeth cleanings are necessary to ensure that your gums and mouth stay healthy. Here at Rosewood Dental Dental, your cleaning will be done by Dr. Nguyen as she feel she can exam your teeth better why cleaning them. Dr. Nguyen suggest that all patients have their teeth cleaned at the office semi-annually, or twice a year. For patients with active periodontal conditions we recommend periodontal maintenance cleanings every 3 or 4 months
Night guard
A growing percentage of people
unconsciously clench or grind their teeth
together at night while sleeping. In the dental field this condition is called bruxism and can require the use of night guards. Here at Rosewood Dental we will take your impression and make you a custom night guard.
Dental Implants
Dental implants are the number one choice of how people today are choosing to replace their missing teeth. Wisdom teeth removal and extractions
Wisdom teeth are the last set of molars to develop, and the jawbone is often not large enough to accommodate them. Sometimes the wisdom teeth become partially trapped under the gums or start to crowd the surrounding teeth, moving them out of proper alignment. Other teeth can also be impacted, meaning they’re trapped between the jaw bone and the gum tissue. Impacted teeth can cause swelling, pain, and gum infection. Dr. Nguyen can remove these problem teeth in the comfort of our own office.
Porcelain Veneers

Dr. Rachel Nguyen
Dr. Rachel Nguyen, D.M.D, grew up in Lakeland, Florida and attended University of South Florida and studied Microbiology and Biomedical Science. In 2006 Dr. Nguyen then went onto Nova Southeastern University of Dental School in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Dr. Nguyen graduated from Nova Dental School in 2011 and then moved to San Antonio. Dr. Nguyen been working as an associate doctor but in 2016 she opened her own practice Rosewood Dental.
Sylvia Vasquez
Sylvia started her dental career as a dental assistant in 1992. She now handles all our insurance verification and billing operation and also manages our front end.
